A series of Breakfast Clubs for active Level 3 coaches are being arranged by sports coach UK in partnership with the Coaching System Support Network.
The informal Clubs will provide targeted personal development in which coaches will be able to:
• learn from experts and practising coaches at the cutting edge of talent development
• share good practice
• discuss challenges and ideas with coaches in similar positions
The sessions build on the existing portfolio of CPD opportunities we as a National Governing Body are looking to provide you in your personal development.
Nine topics will be delivered throughout England. For more information on topics/speakers please click here.
Please note, some venues and speakers are still to be confirmed. These will be updated on the both the sports coach UK and British Cycling website on an ongoing basis.
British Cycling also has the opportunity to work with sports coach UK to run exclusive sessions especially for Cycling Coaches. These sessions will follow on from the ‘Breakfast Club’ to form a ‘Talent Brunch’. They will use the same speaker and focus on the same topic from the earlier session however they will solely be focused on Cycling.
‘Talent Brunches’ will only be able to run if there are sufficient number of coaches interested in a particular topic within the region. However, the Coaching and Education team are committed to providing this opportunity to as many coaches as possible and are currently looking into funding for the ‘Talent Brunch’ which would mean that coaches would have a fantastic opportunity to develop their knowledge even further, at no extra cost!
We will be able to provide you with additional information on the ‘Talent Brunch’ nearer the Breakfast Club start dates.
