Great Britain Cycling Team named for opening rounds of UEC BMX European Cup

Five riders have been named in the Great Britain Cycling Team for rounds one and two of the 2015 UEC BMX European Cup in Zolder, Belgium.

British Cycling Olympic Academy Programme athlete Quillan Isidore and Olympic Development Programme athletes Blaine Ridge-Davis, Paddy Sharrock, Ryan Hutchinson and Wilfred Njuguna will race from the 3-5 April.

Isidore, under-16 world champion in 2012, will compete in the elite men’s class while Ridge-Davis races in the 17-24 class, Sharrock and Hutchinson the junior men's class with Njuguna will in the 15-16 category.

The UEC BMX European Cup consists of five events comprising a total of ten rounds. In addition to Belgium, the cup visits France, Denmark and Switzerland with the final rounds in Manchester.

Zolder will also host this year’s UCI BMX World Championships in July.
