Read the latest diaries from some of our current Coach Education participants who are working their way through British Cycling's Coaching Pathway. Alongside two-time World Champion rider Scott Beaumont, we also have blogs from two of our Coaching Scholars, Justin Knox and Monica Eden.

SCOTT BEAUMONT
Having been double world champion and a pro-rider for over 15 years, Scott ‘Boom Boom’ Beaumont knows all about competing in cycle sport at the very highest level.

He already pens a rider race diary for British Cycling, but with a series of coaching courses planned over the next 12 months, Scott will use these pages to chart his progress and the high and lows of his time spent with British Cycling’s top tutors working his way through a series of top quality qualifications.

MONICA EDEN
Monica Eden is one of two recruits on to British Cycling's annual Coach Scholarship programme, which provides a wide variety of coach development opportunities across all of cycling's key disciplines.

Here, the former Talent Team track rider outlines her activities as part of the scholarship to date, starting with a diversification into Mountain Biking and Road and Time Trial with Level 2 Coaching courses and the experience of organising her first race!

JUSTIN KNOX
Justin Knox is the second of two recruits on to British Cycling's annual Coach Scholarship programme, which provides a wide variety of coach development opportunities across all of cycling's key disciplines.

On these pages, the keen Mountain Bike rider from Derbyshire explains how the Coaching Scholarship has not only opened his eyes to different disciplines in cycling, but also the standard of talent at the UK School Games and the workings of the TV trade.

British Cycling is proud to provide a comprehensive Coach Education Programme for people who want to coach. Whether you are interested in coaching beginners or performance-orientated riders, we can help you realise your coaching goals through our coaching pathway.
