About our club

Welcome to Cycle Mickleover (CM)

We’re an active group of cycling enthusiasts who proudly call each other friends. Founded by riders who love getting out on the road year-round, CM is all about enjoying the ride—together.

Many join us as part of a lifestyle change, regardless of age or experience. CM is the perfect club to help you reach your goals. Our friendly group rides are a great way to improve your cycling skills, meet new people, and have fun.

Our members range from seasoned riders to novices. Our Ride Leaders are there to guide you and help you find the right pace group for our rides. As your confidence and fitness grow, you’ll find plenty of opportunities to push yourself—whether that’s by riding further, picking up the pace, or tackling that hill you once avoided.

We share all ride details—distance, elevation, and average speed per group—on our closed Facebook group, so you can make informed decisions based on your current fitness and health. Members can also download routes to their GPS devices for easy navigation.

Our Ride Leaders are passionate volunteers who love cycling and sharing their knowledge. They’re always happy to offer tips on technique, hydration, and nutrition.

After your first trial ride, we’ll invite you to complete a membership form on line and become an official part of the club.

We also use Facebook to post spontaneous rides, announce social events, and keep our community connected. To join, simply fill out and return the application form. We welcome anyone who genuinely wants to be part of a friendly, supportive cycling group.

If you are not yet a member of this club we recommend that you contact the club using the details in the contact tab before you buy your subscription. Please note the £1.00 application fee is non-refundable.
