Information for coaches

As coaches, you are vital in helping achieve doping-free sport. The role of the coach is integral to shaping the values, attitudes and beliefs an athlete has towards clean sport. For anti-doping information and advice for all coaches click here.

Information for parents

As a parent, anti-doping can seem like a daunting topic and it's difficult to know where to start. Your child may have just started out in cycling or have been competing at a high level for some time. Whichever stage your child is at, clean sport is relevant. Helping to support your child with good anti-doping practises is vital in creating a culture of clean riders and clean cycling. For anti-doping information and advice for parents click here.

2015 WADA Code Changes

Anti-doping, like sport is governed by rules. From 1 January 2015 a revised World Anti-Doping Code (2015 Code) comes into effect. As a member of a British Cycling, these anti-doping rules apply to you too regardless of what level you compete at.

The 2015 code has increased the number of Anti-Doping Rule Violations (ADRVs), and places a greater emphasis on both Athlete Support Personnel (ASP) such as coaches and sports medics, and the relevance of anti-doping education. It is important that you understand the 2015 code and its implications. For further information click here or visit UKAD’s 2015 Code Mircosite here.
