Talent Induction Videos
Each year, young athletes, their parents and coaches who are invited to take part in Regional Schools of Racing for the first time take part in a British Cycling talent induction. Introduced in 2018, talent inductions bring together all the key stakeholders involved in supporting a young person on their cycling journey (parents, clubs/coaches & the system) into one place for a day of activity, support and education. The aim, all stakeholders are aligned and agree actions to best/better support the athlete on their journey, an athlete-centred approach.
The below workshops were recorded at our 2018 talent inductions, all handouts can be downloaded supporting the video content. The two presenters in the videos are;
1 - DR. David Grecic, University of Central Lancashire, Principal Lecturer in Sport.
2 – Sarah Chantler, PhD – Candidate, Leeds Beckett University.
