British Cycling’s Coaching and Education team is looking for volunteer road riders to assist in a at Tameside Closed Road Circuit on Sunday 16th September.

Attending riders will receive expert coaching in areas of technique, fitness and race tactics as part of the course delivery from a team of British Cycling Coach Educators and trainee L3 performance coaches.

As part of the ongoing commitment to the qualification, the performance trainees will also be looking for riders to work with on a one-to-one basis over subsequent months as part of their practical assessments.

The Level 3 Certificate in Coaching Road and Time Trial has been designed with optimal practical delivery in mind, which means riders with race experience are needed, although they do not have to have raced at a high standard.

The morning session will run from 9am until 1pm. Lunch will be provided and any riders aged 14 years or over are welcome to attend. All riders must provide their own equipment.
