About our club
Kirklees Cycling Academy is primarily focused on helping riders enter the world of competitive cycle sport. We opened our doors in February 2010 and since then we have helped 8 riders enter the Olympic Apprenticeship scheme, 2 riders raced for Team GB in 2018, 4 riders are now on semi-professional teams racing in the UK, Spain, Italy and France and many other riders have progressed in to Regional Race Champions & National race champions in their respective age groups. We have provided access to loan bikes, equipment we have a small team of passionate coaches who are committed to quality and having fun too. We are affiliated to British Cycling, BSCA, CTT and run and support fund raising and events and races along with other local clubs.
We are both Go-ride and ClubMark accredited and have a quality over quantity approach to club numbers and support. If you want to compete and progress your skills, then please come along and get involved.
