About our club
Border City Wheelers has been promoting cycling in the Carlisle district since 1925. We are a friendly club and welcome new members of all ages and abilities.
We have a membership of around 65 members and promote road cycling events in the Carlisle specifically time trials and reliability rides. In addition, the club has a Junior Section that has achieved ‘Club Mark’ and ‘Go Ride’ status for our younger members with regular training sessions to build their cycling skills in a fun but safe environment.
The club also benefits from a number of qualified coaches who are only too pleased to help members get the best from their cycling.
If you are interested in taking part in a competitive cycling event such as a time trial, you are very welcome to come along and try one of our club events. If you wish to speak to somebody beforehand to find out more please do not hesitate to contact us.
