About our club
The Auster Team
We love cycling. We want everyone to love cycling and understand how fun cycling can be.
We want to support members in achieving their personal cycle-related goals as a team in the Auster way; whether you aspire to be a more confident cyclist, improve your fitness, recover from injury or train for new challenges
We foster a team mentality with collective responsibility to ensure everyone feels like a valuable asset to the group, for shared enjoyment and safe riding.
We all have a duty of care to each other and the club itself. All members should be willing to participate and feel empowered to help Auster grow dynamically and excel at what we do
We are a not for profit club where all members have a fair and equal stake in the club. We measure success in the smiles of our community
The Auster Community
We are committed to creating an inclusive cycling club, a club which is made up of the community and for the community.
All are welcome whatever their background, ethnicity, gender identity, religious belief or sexuality and as members of a community we want everyone to be able to bring their whole self.
We want every member to to feel equally welcome and included at all meetings and events. Sexist, racist, homophobic, transphobic or otherwise offensive and inflammatory remarks and behaviour are not acceptable nor will be tolerated.
We acknowledge there are barriers to entry to cycling so we commit to working with our community to come up with innovative ways to give more people access to join us.
