About our club

Braishfield is a small village in South Hampshire. Worzel Gummidge Country!
Braishfield Cycling Club has been going since 2006 when it was decided to from a band of cyclists to keep fit. There are not many left from Braishfield now, but the name remains.
With a 35-60 age group, couple of competitive segment attacks, but social for all abilities to catch up , 2 scheduled rides a week, 9am Sunday, 7 pm Tues depending on light. Road bikes if poss., MTBs in winter/ if wet.
Braishfield CC is not a serious club, plenty of banter but some accomplished riders. Meet afterwards for light ale and chips at the Wheatsheaf, Braishfield (car parking for cars) . Averages 17-21mph depending on length or ride.
We enter sportive and occasional charity rides, don’t miss out on the Summer Solstice ride.
Between us we have conquered the Pyrenees (Atlantic to Mediterranean) , rode across England (MTBs) , The Fred and the Alps.
Braishfield CC is a perfect way to discover the beautiful Test Valley, New forest the surrounding country and keep fit.
