About our club
Lauderdale Cycling Club has been created so that families from the Lauderdale area can enjoy the benefits of an organised, safe and varied cycling experience. We are open to anyone who wishes to join but primarily to those who reside in Lauder, the villages of Oxton & Blainslie and surrounding hamlets & farms.
The club is for anyone (of any age) with an interest in cycling.
Our vision is to:
- Provide the best cycling experience available to members of all ages.
- Drive cycling interest and improved health for the wider community.
The main activities offered are:
- Weekly training sessions to include skills courses, team games, equipment maintenance and safety lessons to improve the members' skills, confidence and general fitness.
- Regular ride-outs (including night time rides) in and around the local area to further the individuals' skills and focus on more off-road abilities.
