About our club

Field End Flyers is a Saturday Morning community cycle club for children between the ages of 5-11yrs.
The club sessions take place every Saturday morning during term time only, between 10am -12.30pm. Our gates open from 09.45am for signing-on and the cycle track entrance is located to the right of the school’s carpark on Field End Road.We ask that riders arrive promptly in order to get the sessions underway and give the children the maximum time available to ride.Parents may use the schools car park during the session.

So what does it cost:-
Membership September to July £12 followed by individual session fee of £3,
NON MEMBERS £5 per session

This unique venue is a dedicated cycle track within its own secure grounds, isolated from the school and general public access.
The children are coached by British Cycling qualified coaches, and are taught a variety of skills and techniques in order to develop their balance and confidence whilst riding their bikes.

2013 Session Dates
Autumn Term = 7th Sept to 26th Oct & 9th Nov to 14th Dec 2013.
NO SESSIONS = Nov 2nd & Dec 21st, 28th 2013 + Jan 4th, 11th 2014.

Spring Term = 18th Jan to 15th Feb and 1st Mar to 29th Mar 2014.
NO SESSIONS = Feb 22nd & Apr 5th 12th & 19th 2014.

Summer Term = 26th Apr to 24th May and 7th Jun to 19th Jul 2014.
NO SESSIONS = 31st May & 26th Jul 2104.

What do you need to bring on the day?
Riders need to wear trousers / leggings, a cycle helmet, shower proof clothing and gloves. Most important of all don’t forget to bring your bike and a full water bottle!
