About our club
Houghton Cycling Club was established in 1932 and is therefore one of the oldest cycling clubs in North East England.
The club is open to everyone, whatever your cycling interests and whatever your age, experience or ability. We cater for many different types of cycling including social, road racing, time trials, touring, Audax/Reliability rides and cyclo-cross.
We organise a very popular Sunday club run programme which includes several ride options each week. We have several BC qualified club coaches who can organise coaching sessions throughout the year.
