About our club
We are one of the largest clubs in the UK, and aiming to be one of the most inclusive.
Our purpose is to promote the amateur sport of Cycling in Ilkley and the surrounding areas, and of community participation in the same area.
The core activity of the club is to provide regular organised rides available to all abilities which continues through the year. Rides are available most days of the week and all members can set up, advertise and join rides via our website.
We have a very active Youth section from the youngest learning to ride up to junior racing riders (16 – 18). We are happy for riders who have specific needs to join in and have good links with para cycling.
ICC has a large number of members who are racing enthusiasts and we are regularly represented in time trials, circuit racing, hill climbs, road racing and cyclo cross. We also organise a number of events throughout the year notably the Ilkley Town Centre Races each summer.
Our other major annual event is the White Rose Classic Sportive, led by club volunteers providing challenging routes of between 50 and 110 miles through the Yorkshire dales.
