About our club
We are a cycling club based around Ampthill and Luton in Bedfordshire, with 125 members. The club promotes Time Trialling, Sportives, Cyclo-Cross, Road and Track Racing, weekends and Social Activities. We provide on road activities under the supervision of experienced cyclists and qualified coaches. We work with local schools to deliver Go-Ride cycling following the British Cycling plan.
If you want to ride with an experienced yet sociable band of riders, who will wait if you puncture, then the Icknield is for you. Come along to one of our Tuesday evening club nights or turn up at a club ride to find out more. We welcome new riders whether experienced or not.
The Club room is in the Culcheth Centre Redborne Upper School, Ampthill on Tuesday nights and provides opportunities for indoor training under the supervision of our qualified coaches.The Club time trials, which run from April to August, are just 5 minutes ride away.
