About our club

Founded in 1932, Cwmcarn Paragon is one of Wales' longest-established cycling clubs and has proudly produced generations of Welsh and National champions, as well as a large contingent of Commonwealth and British international riders.

We meet every Thursday night at the clubhouse just off the main A467 Abercarn-Cwmcarn bypass. During the winter, it's a social evening, with the added pain of a 10 mile time trial during the summer months.

Saturday morning social ride leaves our clubhouse at 09:00.

Sunday club ride(s) leaves the clubhouse at 09:00 (Summer) and 09:30 (Winter).

If you're new to cycling, coming back to it, want to race, or just find some friendly people to ride with, we'd love to hear from you.
