About our club

Heckmondwike Cycle Speedway Club was established in 1972.
In 2020 there was no racing due to Covid-19.
In 2021 the club competed in the Yorkshire Four-a-side League, Junior and Senior Grand Prix, which includes Hull and Sheffield.
In 2022 the club came 2nd in the Northern League Division 2. Competed in the Northern 4's League and Grand Prix, and the Yorkshire League matches.
In 2023 the club were top of the Northern League Division 2, but were beaten by Fife in the play-off final. We also competed in the Northern 4's League and Grand Prix, and the Yorkshire League matches.
The club is always open to new members.
