About our club
The Eagle Road Club is a friendly, active club for road cyclists of all ages and all abilities who are interested in racing. We are now based at Abridge in Essex.
We were founded in 1923 by CTC members with the objective of promoting time trials, and based originally in London by the Eagle Public House, Wanstead.
We now cover most aspects of competitive cycling with a focus on road and circuit racing, track plus of course time trials. Our members compete in a wide range of events throughout the year. If you are just taking up the sport, these events are a perfect introduction to the racing side of cycling.
