Team Wales traveled to the outskirts of czestochowa, near katowice, Poland for the Nations Cup.

The Junior nations cup was clearly the biggest stage our boys had competed on, They had a slow start but picked it up a little in the second half, taking a heat win here and there, and a few draws along the way.

Eventually our young Welsh side just wasn't strong enough to overcome the power of the poles, Wales having to settle for 3rd place, behind England and winners poland.

Wales team manager pairing dale clark and nick evans were delighted with the result and said "Our time will come in the future, most of our team are only 15 and have 3 more years at junior level, we are thrilled with how well they coped on the big stage, they road with the roar of the Dragon. This weekend has been a fantastic experience for the boys and we look forward to working with them in the future,  we are back here in a year's time for the world championships, who knows what could happen?"

The atmosphere at the polish track was immense and increasing all the time in the build up to the senior event.

Cycle Speedway is huge in Poland, and the club's hospitality to all the juniors was superb,

Wales seniors got to the track and also managed a podium place finish, again it was bronze, behind England and winners poland.
