British Cycling’s Sport and Participation Director, Jonathan Day, said:

"We are delighted to once again be able to offer extensive coverage of next week’s championships to fans here in Britain and across the world, highlighting our work to raise the profile of our major domestic events and the magnificent coastal scenery of Redcar and Cleveland.

"The start list this year is jam-packed with our country’s biggest names and brightest talents, and it is amazing to see 36 WorldTeam and Women’s WorldTeam riders taking to the start line alongside those from our Continental and domestic teams.

"With its challenging route and stunning backdrop the road races have the potential to go down in British Cycling folklore, and we’re hugely thankful to our partners at Redcar and Cleveland Council, the event team and volunteers who make it possible."

Coverage of the events will be provided by Century Television, which has over 15 years of experience working in cycling as host broadcaster for the Tour of Britain and Women’s Tour, Tour Series and RideLondon.
