British Cycling and TrainingPeaks have teamed up to make the current British Cycling training plans available for FREE on the TrainingPeaks website with all the features of the basic Athlete Edition account.
Benefits of using TrainingPeaks
Riders get the ability to log workouts; plan their season using the calendar; and analyse your heart rate, power, pace and other data. You can get your daily workouts via e-mail, take your intervals with you on your mobile, and log your training to help you achieve your goals.
Simply , enter the date of your target event or when you want to start the plan and all the sessions will be presented in a clear and easy to follow format both on your computer and mobile devices.
Who is it suitable for?
There are training plans available for various events and ability levels, from beginner through to advanced riders and long distance events or short four-week plans focussing on improving specific techniques.
You will be asked to sign up to TrainingPeaks if you aren’t already registered. This is free and will then take you straight through to view the Training Plans. You can access TrainingPeaks on iPhone, Android, or the web, and choose between a free Basic or paid Premium option.
