British Cycling Olympic Development Programme athlete Elinor Barker came away from the junior track world championships with two medals, taking silver in her second event of the competition.

Barker completed her omnium campaign with a flourish after a solid start on day one, which placed her second overall. Day two saw the team pursuit bronze medal winner finish seond in the individual pursuit, third in the scratch race and second in the 500m time trial, but no rider could break the unbeatean record of Australia's Taylah Jennings, who won all six events and with it the world title.

In the men's individual pursuit Jon Dibben narrowly missed out on his second medal of the competition, finishing fourth Riding in the bronze medal final, the omnium silver medallist finished in 3:20.926, edged out by Australia's Alexander Morgan, who recorded a 3:18.292.
