The kit is essentially dark indigo blue kit, with elements inspired by the union flag and was combined with red shoes for the launch. Leading designer Stella McCartney collaborated with Adidas in the production of the design.

- GB Cycling Team's Chris Hoy, Victoria Pendleton and Lizzie Armitstead were amongst the athletes featured in the images marking the release of Team GB's 2012 Olympic clothing.
