Performance Director Stephen Park said: “The Tour of Britain is one of the key races on our calendar as it attracts some of the biggest names in the peloton so is a good opportunity for our senior academy riders to learn.

“It’s great to have Connor Swift and Jake Stewart back riding for us, they bring plenty of experience of competing in professional races.

“Similarly, the senior academy squad have had a fantastic season on the road this year, they’ve worked really well as a team and we’ve had some stage wins at big under-23 races. Matt Walls, for example, won stages at Paris Arras and the Baby Giro, while Jim Brown played a big part in setting up the stage victories for Ethan Hayter and Tom Pidcock at the Tour de l’Avenir last week. I’m looking forward to seeing them all step up a level as they take on some of the world’s best road riders.

“The Tour of Britain looks set to be another great race this year, and we are all looking forward to racing on home roads in front of home crowds once again.”
