Great Britain Cycling Team’s Tom Pidcock continued his fantastic season with victory in the junior men’s race at the Telenet UCI Cyclo-cross World Cup in Namur on Sunday.
European champion Pidcock was in a class of his own as he crossed the line 50 seconds clear of Antoine Benoist in Belgium.
The 17-year-old Junior Academy rider celebrated with a wheelie over the line and will hope to carry his form over the remaining three world cups and on to January’s UCI Cyclo-cross World Championships.

A superb day for Great Britain Cycling Team saw Dan Tullett finish seventh and Ben Turner eighth, with Thomas Mein 34th.
Richards impresses in women’s race
Under-23 world champion Evie Richards finished 11th in the elite women’s race, one minute and 30 seconds behind winner Katerina Nash.

James Ffion was 23rd Britain with Hannah Payton 38th and Amira Mellor 39th.
Frazer Clacherty took 34th in the under-23 men’s race, won by Joris Nieuwenhuis.
The next round of the Telenet UCI Cyclo-cross World Cup takes place in Heusden-Zolder on Monday 26 December.
