free of charge: Free Level 1 Certificate in Coaching Cycling The Youth Sport Trust is funding one Free Level 1 Coaching Course per British Cycling Region. This training is available to people currently working in SSP's or proposing to do so once trained. Preference will be given to people who are already linked to an existing SSP Bikeability project.

Sportives and non-competitive events to resume in September under new guidance

British Cycling is pleased to announce that sportives and other non-competitive events can resume from Saturday 5 September 2020, under new guidance approved by DCMS.

Good practice for Virtual Coaching Sessions

Following on from recommendations and in line with current Government advice, coaches are doing some great work in coaching riders remotely. As with many things across the sporting world, activity that can take place is doing so online, and British Cycling has issued a toolkit to clubs to help support virtual coaching.
