Location: Exeter Cycle Speedway, Marsh Barton, Exeter, Devon
Event: 15 June 2013
Report: Snowdon Sports

Just two teams supported the Inter Regional Veterans Team Championship despite an excellent track and facilities offered by the Exeter club.

But despite the lack of entries, the two teams made it a great day and the match turned into a very closely-run competition which was only decided in favour of the Midlands, led by their top scorer Dave Frith (Leicester CSC), in the final heat.

Result:

Midlands 76 (Dave Frith 18, Paul Timms 16, Dave Meanley 13, Norman Venson 11, Phil Hemmings 9, Steve Hodbkinson 7, Phil Widdas 2).

South & South Wales 74 (Mike Burgess 19, Dave Murphy 16, Colin Simmons 12, Pete Chant 11, Paul Gibbs 11, Andy Riddle 2, Colin Wheeler 2, Kevin Greaves 1).
