The latest round of Cycle Speedway Euro-Vets was held at the Exeter Aces track at Cofton Road, Exeter last Saturday.

Fourteen of the 'more mature' competitors of the sport travelled to compete together with the very popular Chick Mackie arriving all the way from Glasgow. Perfect conditions saw some excellent racing which culminated in the following results:

Over 40s - 1st Mark Griffiths (Wednesfield) 2nd Dennis Hubble (East London) 3rd Norman Venson (Leicester)

Over 50s - 1st Dave Murphy (Exeter) 2nd Dennis Hubble (East London) 3rd Joe McLaughlin (Coventry)

Over 60s - 1st Mick Arris (Wednesfield) 2nd Fred Rothwell (Pedalsport) 3rd Chick Mackie (Edinburgh)
