Wosskow Brown Youth and Junior League 2010 - Final Standings

The Wosskow Brown sponsored British Youth and Junior League is at an end for another year and has, once again, produced some excellent individual and team performances. Here's a summary of the final positions in each category. For the full results and final standings download the Excel file.
NATIONAL - CLUB STANDINGS
Poole Cycle Speedway Club took the youth and junior club championship title, beating Kesgrave by just half-a-point, with Ipswich back in third on 14 pts

REGIONAL - CLUB STANDINGS
Wednesfield took top honours in the Midlands with 23 points, dropping only one point to their second placed rivals Bretford, while East Park were a distant third. In the Northern league, Sheffield were clear winners ahead of Stockport 2006 and Astley & Tyldesley. The Eastern club title was taken by Kesgrave, who narrowly pipped Ipswich to the top spot, with Hethersett taking third place. South West saw a rampant Poole head and shoulders above the competition, followed by East Newport and Horspath.

INDIVIDUAL POINTS - FINAL STANDINGS
Under 8 rider Lewis Brinkhoff from Great Blakenham shares the top spot with U14 Louis Harvey from East Newport, the two riders tying on 127 points apiece. There was also a tie for third place overall, with Matt Mildon of Poole and Will Tidball of Exeter tying on 125pts.

GRAND PRIX - FINAL STANDINGS
Tiffany Collins of Hethersett took the girls GP crown with 166pts, well ahead of her nearest rival Charlie Ellitts of Wednesfield. Gt Blakenham's Lewis Brinkhoff scored another victory in the U8s category, with Horspath's Jack Currell 17pts adrift in second place. Exeter's Will Tidball beat Horspath's George Horsley into second place in the U10 category, while in the U12s, it was another Exeter rider, James Robinson who took the top rung.
Moving to the U14s category, East Newport's Louis Harvey's consistent high placings gave him 185pts and the U14 title, ahead of Poole's Matt Mildon, while in the U16s category, top honours went to Sandwell's Matthew Smith. Finally in the top U18 category, Wednesfield's Luke Draisey was miles ahead of the opposition, amassing 170pts, with East Newport's Aaron Hughes and Hethersett's Dan Chambers tying on 133pts apiece (Hughes claiming 2nd place in the race-off).
