Saturday 31 May: Cycle Speedway Home Internationals – Norwich
Emily Burges celebrated her 21st birthday in style by finishing on top of the Womens regional pairs, alongside Laura Watson representing North & Scotland. It took a run-off for first place between Emily Burgess and Lizzie Rigley of the Midlands team, with North & Scotland taking the crown by the slimmest of margins.
It was a successful day for the England teams who took top spot in all of the home nation competitions.
A team of Kevin Burns, Craig Marchant, Jason Ashford, Will Banyard and Lee Grange secured 62 points in the Over 40s, with Kevin Burns and Craig Marchant taking top spot in all of their races. Wales took second place on 50 points, Ireland in third with 40 and Scotland in fourth with 26.
Luca Woodhouse, Corey Burt, Ollie Saunders, Teddy Curtis and Finley Myall blew the competition out of the water in the Juniors, securing 70 points. Ireland took second place with 50 points, Wales in third on 31 points and Scotland placed fourth with 26.
The England Senior team of Scott Millward, Ben Clarke, Reece Pollitt, Will Jeffrey and Tom Colling completed the clean sweep securing 60 points. Wales came in second with 48 points, narrowly ahead of Scotland in third on 41 points and Ireland finished in fourth with 27.
Sunday 1 June: Speedway Battle of Britain – Norwich
In the Junior event, Team South and South Wales, made up of George Whale, Teddy Curtis, Sonny Whale, Joe Gillespie, Ollie Saunders, Tom Alexander, Leon Penketh and Lexie Curtis dominated, ending the day with victory and a healthy 108 score. The South East came in second place on 83, with the North and Scotland team finishing third on 74.
In the Seniors event, the South East team, consisting of Matt Hill, James Porter, Torsten Jolly, Noah Woodhouse, Ash Hill, Lewis Brinkoff, Luca Woodhouse and Shaun Kell took the top spot on 69 points. South & South Wales came in second on 63, the Midlands finished in third with 54 and the North & Scotland finished in fourth on 50 points.
Regional Road Race Championships – Saturday 31 May - Sunday 1 June
Road races took place across our regions this weekend, with the winners of each regional event taking their respective titles, a British Cycling medal - and crucially – will be considered for the National Road Championships later in June.
East Midlands, West Midlands, North West, Yorkshire and North East Women’s Regional Road Race
Five regional titles were up for grabs in Duffield on Sunday, with Madeline Cooper representing Yorkshire taking top spot overall. Mika Soderstorm and Ella Tandy came second and third respectively after a tight and tense sprint finish for glory. Top performers for each region were as follows:
Yorkshire - Madeline Cooper of Montezumas Eventrex Race Team, finishing first overall
East Midlands - Elena Day of Loughborough Lightning, finishing fifth overall
West Midlands - Ella Tandy of Tofauti Everyone Active Majaco, finishing third overall
North West - Hannah Clough of University of Nottingham CC, finishing sixth overall
North East - Miriam Jessett of Loughborough Lightning, finishing 12th overall.

East Midlands and West Midlands Open Regional Road Race.
In the Open race at Duffield, Adam Lewis representing the East Midlands took top spot, 11 seconds ahead of Caleb Pain in second place. Oliver Dawson, also of the East Midlands took third. Top spot for each region are Adam Lewis for the East Midlands and Daniel Barnes of the West Midlands, who finished 4th overall.

Beicio Cymru Road Race Championships
Will Salter topped the podium in the Senior Open, for his first win of the season, ahead of Ed Morgan in 2nd and Marinus Pietersen in 3rd.
In the Women’s Open, Lili-Keau Juntakereket took home a shock victory, ahead of favourite Lowri Richard in 2nd and last year's silver medalist Rebecca Woodvine in 3rd.

Doug Riley Memorial Road Race
Oskar Everett topped the podium in a thrilling contest, placing above Colin Peck in second and David Baboan in third.
Derek Lusher Memorial Road Race Inc Eastern Road Race Champs
In the senior competition, Monte Guerrini continued an impressive 2025 campaign by placing first in the Derek Lusher Memorial Road Race. Callum Laborde placed 2nd, while Rowan Baker came in third.
