British Cycling is pleased to announce that the Great Britain v Poland cycle speedway internationals will take place at Exeter (Thursday 25 July at 7.30pm), Newport (Friday 26 July at 7.30pm) and Poole (Saturday 27 July at 6pm).

News about the Polish squad is beginning to emerge from Eastern Europe as they prepare for this clash between Europe's two premier cycle speedway nations.

Although Poland haven't named specific teams yet, it is known that Polish team manager Lukasz Bazelak will travel to England with former European Champion Marcin Paradzinski, experienced International Pawel Cegielski and two emerging Torun riders Adam Bozejewicz and Karol Krajewski who both have International test match experience.

Furthermore, the following British based riders have already made themselves available: world champion Lukasz Nowacki, Matti Szymczak, Pawel Idiorek, Grzegorz Gluchowski and Arek Szymanski.

Unfortunately, Poland's injured former world champion Marcin Szymanski, who is in need of an operation to resolve a hip injury, will not be part of their squad.

As always, Poland will provide Great Britain with tough opposition throughout this 3 match series, which should provide British spectators with the prospect of some great racing at Exeter, Newport and Poole.
