About our club
Salt Ayre Cog Set is a cycling club for young people (aged 6-18) based in the Lancaster-Morecambe area of North West England.
We are a welcoming and inclusive club and are affiliated to British Cycling. We are a Go-Ride club and have achieved the Clubmark status that Sport England uses to determine well-run clubs across all sports.
Salt Ayre Cog Set runs Saturday morning road and MTB sessions at the Salt Ayre cycle track (mid-way between Morecambe & Lancaster) from March until the end of October.
Extra training sessions (by invitation only) take place on Monday evenings through the racing season. We offer many other opportunities to ride including rides out, weekends away plus social events which take place throughout the year.
