About our club

Based in the North East of England and riding regularly in Tyneside, Wearside, County Durham and Northumberland, as well as further afield including Cumbria, Yorkshire and that there London too.

We are predominantly a Road Cycling Club, but also have an off road section called NCC Dirt Division. Our club rides are based on social riding and having fun and laughter whilst staying fit and active. We have nights out and social events regularly through the year, and plan weekend adventures and international trips for those that like that kind of thing.

We road ride regularly on Wednesday Nights, Friday Nights and Sunday Daytime. Week day road rides range from 20-35 miles and on Sundays we offer 3 choices of rides based around Distance, Speed and Elevation, but all 3 rides meet at the coffee stop and this gives you a chance to move up or down the groups and socialise with other riders. We are an all year round club, although in the worst weather we do have to call the rides off. They say their is no wrong weather, just wrong clothing, you demonstrate that in a 70mph crosswind if you believe it.
