About our club
Portishead Cycling Club is social, friendly and only as competitive as each rider wants to be.
Members range from racers to complete novices, with riders of all abilities in between. Regardless of your experience, we offer something for everyone.
Our membership is managed directly through our club website. www.portisheadcycling.com We have over 230 active members.
There is also an action-packed gravel and mountain bike calendar plus options to represent the club in races and sportives as well as the option to test yourself on the track at Newport Velodrome.
If you're happy to ride with us, we're happy for you to see if PCC is the right fit for you. We offer 2 taster rides before you need to decide whether or not to become a member. https://www.portisheadcycling.com/subscription
We also require you to become a British Cycling member for insurance purposes. This does carry an extra cost but gives you liability insurance and legal support in the event of an accident.
It is your responsibility to be self-sufficient, so ensure you are equipped with basic items and your bike is in a roadworthy condition before you ride.
