About our club
Kendal Cycle Club was established as a cycling club in 2015 and is affiliated to British Cycling. The Club is involved in all types of competitive and non-competitive cycling, including road, track, triathlon, mountain biking, time trials and cyclo cross. The Club welcomes cyclists of all ages and abilities.
Kendal Cycle Club is a registered Go-Ride club and has Clubmark accreditation. Clubmark is a universally acknowledged cross sport scheme introduced by Sport England for community sports clubs, which recognises high standards in welfare, equity, coaching and club management.
Kendal Cycle Club, together with Cycling Projects, has established a Wheels for All scheme which provides adapted bike sessions for people with disabilities and mobility issues. These sessions are held at the same time and location as the Saturday morning club ride.
