About our club

Based in Milton Keynes, the OU Cycling Club is committed to all forms of cycling and has members with interests in commuting, leisure rides, sportives, mountain biking, cyclocross, road racing, duathlon and time trials. We meet regularly for training and social group rides and we ride all year round. As well as riding we organise club trips and visits, have several member benefits such as access to tools and spares, a members-only club kit, and club permits for the mountain bike trails local to Milton Keynes.

Our members are mainly OU staff but we are an open club and are pleased to welcome anyone with an interest in joining the OU Cycling Club. No specific affiliation to the OU is required to join the club. The OU is a nationwide organisation and whilst our activities are mainly based around our HQ in Milton Keynes, we welcome members from any region or nation of the UK.

The Open University Cycling Club is affiliated to the OU Club, which exists to provide social and recreational facilities to staff of the Open University and is also open to the general public. We welcome new members at any time.
