About our club

Paceline RT - Everybody does their turn.

Paceline welcomes experienced, safe, competent riders to join the club. The majority of our members have an interest (past or present) in cycle racing, mostly road racing and time trials, and the occasional cyclocross.

Our club runs typically take place at 8:30am at weekends, though we encourage members to post the rides they want to do so we get a good variety of intensity, distances and start times to suit people's schedules. Similar with midweek rides, there is typically a fast training ride on a Tuesday before work, other rides will be ad hoc but often include intervals in Regents or Richmond Park and a relaxed coffee ride on a Friday morning. Tuesday rides meet at the site of the Old Kings Head by Kingston Bridge, most other rides will meet at Dish in Hampton Court or in the park.

The purpose of the club is to encourage competitive amateur cycle racing, mainly by our efforts to promote races and give back to the sport what we get out of it. The club will put on events such as road races, hill climbs and time trials, with all members doing their part as volunteers to make these events a success.
