About our club
Sulis Scorpions Youth Cycling Club is a youth club for young people from 7 to 18 years in the Bath and surrounding areas.
With support from Bath & North East Somerset Council, the club was formed in April 2013 by three of the local cycling clubs, Bath Cycling Club, Somer Valley C.C., Salt & Sham CC and Velo Club Walcot.
The club is based at the dedicated off road 1.5 km tarmac cycle circuit at Odd Down Playing Fields, Bath and offers British Cycling coaching, Bikeability coaching, Go-Ride Race and competitive racing in a traffic free environment.
The club is keen to promote an inclusive environment and as such has 135 youth members, with some who enjoy improving their general cycle skills and some also enjoy developing their racing skills.
Coaching, race and family sessions are generally hosted on a Saturday morning. Please visit the club's web site for membership and contact details.
