About our club
Team Tor 2000 | Kalas is based around Somerton and the Somerset levels. It attracts membership from across the South West and is open to any one, from budding youth riders to world champions. Tor has a strong competitive element (including a race team) it welcomes all types of riders and abilities.
An avid believer in something putting back into the sport. Team Tor 2000 | Kalas organise road and circuit races, time trials as well training and social events.
The club has number of experienced British Cycling accredited (club) coaches and was awarded Sport England’s club mark accreditation. This ensures that our junior section is run in line with all child safety guidelines.
The club is part of British Cycling's 'Go-Ride' network of child-friendly clubs and we often promote a wide range of coaching activities and races for Under 16's and was awarded Sport England’s club mark accreditation.
