About our club
Hertfordshire Wheelers cycling club has been established in the East Herts area since July 1928 - one of the oldest established cycling clubs in Hertfordshire.
The club has members from throughout the area including Cheshunt, Hertford, Ware, Stevenage and Much Hadham. Each Sunday several club rides take place through the lanes of Hertfordshire and Essex (and sometimes beyond). These vary in pace (11 to 18+ mph) and distance (35-70 miles). Generally there is a refreshment stop in a café. (See the website for details).
Members take part in time-trialling, circuit-racing, audax, charity rides and sportives. Most summers groups set off abroad either for touring or for trips to the mountains.
