About our club
We are a very friendly and supportive cycle speedway club based at the Memorial Playing Fields in Hethersett. A typical cycle speedway race involves riding 4 laps around an outdoor oval track as fast as you can! It's really good fun!
All age and experience of rider are welcome to our training sessions on Tuesday nights and Saturday mornings where you will receive training and be able to ride with other riders similar to your age and ability. Our season starts at the beginning of March and continues to the end of October. We have bikes, helmets and gloves you can borrow. Please wear long-sleeved top and trousers. Your first session is free. Fun for all the family!
Our teams compete in the South-East Division 2 and Youth Leagues. There are also plenty of opportunities for riders to enter tournaments locally, regionally, nationally and internationally! For more information take a look at our website https://www.hethersetthawks.co.uk/
