About our club

The Club welcomes new members. Explore our online presence to get a feel for the kind of club we are. If you are interested in joining us then there are a number of avenues available that facilitate this...

1) Join us on one of the many club runs as detailed below
2) Join us on a Wednesday evening for our weekly club meeting @ 7.00pm Torrance Community Centre - combined with the mid-week training sessions detailed below (come later if not participating in ride).
3) Make yourself known on the Club facebook group pages where any message will be promptly acknowledged.
4) Emailing the Club Secretary directly from this site and/or apply directly for membership.

Club Ride Details

o Saturday:10:00hrs: Kirkhouse Inn, Strathblane:
- the traditional Lake-of-Menteith ride, open to all (Nightingale members and friends).
- The expectation is that potential/new members will formalise their club membership after having participated in a few taster rides.

o Sunday: 09:30/10:00hrs (summer/winter): Kirkhouse Inn, Strathblane:
- the traditional Nightingale Club ride, open to existing and new members of the Nightingale
- distance may be a little longer than the Saturday ride during summer months; and maybe shorted during the winter months !

o Wednesday: 18:30/19:00hrs: Torrance Community Centre:
- this is the club meeting night that coincides with club training rides (staggered groups in APR format). These conventionally run during the summer months once the clocks change.
