About our club
VC Jubilee is the youth development wing of Brighton Excelsior. We are based at the Adur Recreation Ground in Shoreham, West Sussex. We meet there all year for our Saturday morning MTB sessions. With the South Downs on our door step these sessions start with an hour skills sessions followed by a ride on the downs split into different ability groups (warning riders often return from these sessions very muddy). On the 1st Saturday of every month we meet at Stanmer park in Brighton to experience different trails. Along with BECC we run Sunday morning club rides. Other sessions are seasonal. Throughout the winter we hold cyclocross training sessions on Tuesday evenings. In the summer there are regular Tuesday evening time trials, on Wednesday we participate in the local track league. As a club we organise and participate in races across disciplines. The club is open to riders from 9 to 18 (riders under 9 can join if initially accompanied by an adult). Some of the above sessions are limited to specific age groups. Come and try us out.
