About our club
Our Club
Huddersfield Star Wheelers first formed in 1953. We are committed to providing access to a wide range of cycling activities within our community for all age groups and abilities. The club aims to be as inclusive as possible and offers rides and support for all members and anyone thinking of becoming a member.
Our Rides and Races
Huddersfield Star Wheelers organise regular road club rides on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays, mountain bike rides on Saturdays and go ride cycling on Saturday. We also offer circuit training at the Hammerstones track in Elland on Friday evenings during the summer.
The club organises events including road races, time trials, hill climbs, cyclo-cross races and mountain bike races.
Our Membership and Affiliations
Huddersfield Star Wheelers are affiliated with both British Cycling and Cycling UK. We have a large Go Ride section and are proud to have achieved Sport England’s Clubmark status.
