Stages

Saturday 6th April - Forteviot

(Road Closures between 08:00-17:00)

Prologue - Fortieviot Individual Time Trial (Morning)

Time TBC: 09:15-09:55 Girls, 10:15-10:55 Boys
Distance: 1.6km (1 mile)

The Prologue takes place on Saturday morning with a short out-and-back route from the village of Forteviot, which includes a 180 degrees hairpin after 800m. While the race will probably not be won on such a short Time Trial - it can certainly be lost.

No aero helmets or time trial handlebars will be permitted.

Stage 1 - Fortieviot Road Race (Afternoon)

Time TBC: 12:15-13:45 Girls, 14:45-16:15 Boys
Distance: TBC between 33km and 60km

Sunday 7th April - St Davids

Stage 2- St Davids Team Time Trial (Morning)

Time TBC: 09:15-10:15 Girls, 10:30-11:30 Boys
Distance: 6.9km (1 lap)

Stage 2 will see each team ride off against the clock in St Davids and will really be a strength of which rider has the strongest team.

As the times will be taken on the third rider across the line, the General Classifcation could really be won and lost here if riders fail to collectively work together.

Stage 3 - St Davids Road Race (Afternoon)

Time TBC: 12:45-14:00 Girls, 14:45-16:30 Boys
Distance: TBC Between 33km and 63km

Stage 3 shares the same route as Stage 2, so similar to the previous day - the riders should be well accquianted with what St Davids has to offer.

The flat route will be one for the sprinters - although the Scottish weather could hamper any plans for a bunch sprint.

Time bonifcations of 3, 2 and 1 seconds will be available at the Intermediate Sprint Prime, with 10, 6 and 4 seconds avalable to the first three on the Stage.

Monday 8th April - Forgandenny

(Road Closures between 08:00-13:30)

Stage 4 - Strathallan Kermesse (Lap 2.5km)

Time: 09:00-10:00 Girls, 10:30-11:45 Boys
Distance: To Be Confirmed

The final stage will see a Belgian style kermesse on the roads in and around Strathallan to decide who will be victorious.

Despite it's short lap - there is a considerable amount of climbing on each tour with the total elevation gain around 300m for Girls and 480m for Boys, which with it's tight, technical nature could be perfect for a rider to gamble for glory on the final stage.

Riders will be gridded with the leading rider in each classification on the front row of the gridfollowed by the top 20 in General Classification. All other riders will not be gridded.
