As we build up to the 2011 National Track Championships, we are looking back at the outstanding 2010 championships which produced some of the best national title races ever seen at this historic venue. This is what happened on Day 2:

Featuring the best of future British talent, day two of the 2010 Championship was a showcase of future World Champions.

Jess Varnish and Becky James teamed up to take the women's team sprint title, while Dani King was runner-up to Corinne Hall in the women's points race.

Months later, King would be team pursuit world champion and take bronze in the points race at the same world championships.

The men's scratch race featured stars from the Tour de France and a few new names, but eventually Peter Kennaugh would forge away for the win - leaving Ben Swift to crash out and Geraint Thomas in third. Simon Yates was the silver medallist.

In the paracycling time trial championship, Jon Allen Butterworth marked his arrival on the scene with a gold medal and the national title.
