DATE: Saturday 1st and Saturday 8th March

In 2014 the popular Youth and Junior Women races will once again kick off the crit racing season in Scotland.  Saturday 1st and Saturday 8th March are the dates for the diary.  This year the race format is 2 separate one day stage races – with the combined time from the short TT and long crit race deciding the winners.  There will be races for Under 10, Under 12, Under 14, Under 16 and Junior Women with prizes for the top 3 in each age group and gender.

New for 2014 will be the Combativity Awards in the U14/U16/JW crit races.  Scottish Cycling RDO, Craig McCullough and British Cycling Talent Coach, Ben Greenwood will lead the judging of these awards and they will be looking to reward attacking, intelligent, tactical riding.

The races are again being supported by Activcity – The City of Edinburgh Council’s one stop shop for sport and physical activity.

The races will start with the Time Trials at 10am and full details of the schedule, Start Sheets and Results will be posted on the race Facebook Page: Click here for more information
