STAGE REPORTS

Stage 1: Rochdale to Blackpool (82 miles, Sept 11)
HTC Colombia's Andre Greipel took the opening stage of the 2010 Tour of Britain in a bunch finish in Blackpool. A three-man breakaway stayed clear for most of the day over the very wet Rossendale Moors and Bowland Fells: Report & Results

Stage 2: Stoke on Trent (100 miles, Sept 12)
Greg Henderson of Team Sky was the winner of stage 2. In the process, he grabbed the overall lead from Michael Albasini and Heinrich Haussler, after a day that saw the general classification turned upside down: Report & Results

Stage 3: Newtown to Swansea (93 miles, Sept 13)
An epic day of wind, rain and fog in the hills of Wales saw an early break of nine riders go away, before HTC Columbia's Michael Albasini came through in the final few kms to claim the win and snatch the yellow jersey: Report & Results

Stage 4: Minehead to Teignmouth (106 miles, Sept 14)
Wouter Poels (Vacansoleil) won a great fourth stage of the race, his team having been in the thick of the action for much of another long hard day in poor conditions. Michael Albasini successfully defended his overall lead: Report & Results

Stage 5: Tavistock to Glastonbury (110 miles, Sept 15)
Marco Frapporti (Colnago-CSF Inox) took the honours after an 8 man break - including Brad Wiggins - dominated proceedings right from the moment they escaped the main field as the race crossed a windswept Dartmoor: Report & Results

Stage 6: Kings Lynn to Great Yarmouth (118 miles, Sept 16) 
HTC-Colombia's Andre Greipel took his second stage victory in East Anglia after a flat-out chase across Norfolk. A long two man break containing Cameron Meyer and Jaroslav Marycz stayed away for much of the stage, but was caught with a heartbreaking 1km to go. Report & Results

Stage 7: Bury St Edmunds to Colchester  (94 miles, Sept 17)
Vacansoleil rider Borut Bozic took the win on Stage Seven from Bury St Edmunds to Colchester, in a day dominated by a classic ‘will they won't they' two man breakaway from Tom Murray and Pieter Jacobs. Report & Results

Stage 8: London (52 miles,  Sept 18)
HTC-Colombia had a double reason to celebrate on the Tour Of Britain's final stage; Andre Greipel leading the sprint train across the line and Michael Albasini clinching the race win following a savage eight stages of racing across the UK. Report & Results
