Event: 15 April 2012

Kent Velo Girls, formed in 2008, are throwing down the gauntlet to both novice and more experienced female sportive riders in the second year of the Kent Velo Girls Women only Sportive.

The route, which takes in gorgeous views of the Kent and Sussex countryside, comes in three rides of 20, 40 and 90 miles to suit any rider and offers a number of ‘interesting’ gradients to test participants.

In addition to the sportive itself, there be a raffle to raise money for the Breast Cancer Campaign in addition to a donation to the charity from each entry.

Despite its name, men may ride but MUST wear pink with organisers warning a failure to do so will result in a £100 penalty fine to Breast Cancer Campaign.
